May-June 2014

-MAY-

The hair cut finally happened.

He looks so dapper! I saved his red curls.

Nate went on a business trip to France. He went to see the Eiffel Tower on Mother's Day. But he brought back a pretty scarf and a necklace for me.

The knights.

This is a train.

Caden is enjoying the ride!

Liam made a character from the Dinotrux book.

Zonked in the bike trailer.

-JUNE-

We flew to Albuquerque, NM and visited Brandon and Allison for the day before driving up to Colorado to visit Grandpa langford and Grandma Jena.
The boys posing with their cousins under the cool sculpture by the restaurant where we ate.

We were able to become better acquainted with Jena. She really is a gem! She takes such good care of everyone and my Dad seems very happy. I think she is happy as well.

The boys loved playing outside at Grandpa's house!

There was plenty to keep them busy.

The side yard was all dirt since grandpa had removed the shed and was planning on pouring a concrete porch patio during our visit.

Grandpa let the boys help operate heavy equipment.

We all went on a hike. We went along what used to be an old rail road track. If you looked closely, there were rusty railroad stakes, metal plates and bolts to discover in the dirt.

Grandpa showed everyone different plants and other things found along the trail.

Taking a break.

Someone found a horny toad.

Chris and Jocelyn with their little Evelyn.

There were kittens to hold.

The boys pretended to be archeologists and miners in the good clean dirt!
I'm sure there was still Colorado dirt behind their ears when we got home!

We went to the science museum again before our membership expired. We were going to take a break rather than renewing right away.

Piggy back.

A red beard.

Rosy cheeks.

Observing ants.

Caden is officially just one of the gang.
He keeps up and joins in like a big kid. It's fun to watch.
