July-August 2014

July-Owen looses training wheels

-JULY-

Nate set off some baby fireworks with the boys.

They wanted to check out the wreckage after every display.

Caden was both wary and ecstatic!

He was very impressed.

Ice cream cones on the Fourth of July is only natural.

This kind of bare skin can only happen in the shade if you want to avoid the dire consequences of being in the summer sun.

So, here I was 18 weeks pregnant and decided I should let everyone know about it.

Caden turned 2. He got a Duplo construction set.

The boys all helped him try it out.

He blew out his candles.

All by himself!

Sometimes, we can't help but indulge this boy. He woke up and came down stairs to cuddle.

Toad hunting is a regular activity on our walks.

-AUGUST-

Loving the rain.

The boys in awe from the flooded street. It happened last year in June but it still amazes.

Liam invented a Lego whale.

He got a Batman watch for his birthday.

He chose fruit pizza for his birthday.

He decorated it himself.

Grandma came for a visit. The boys loved having her.
They kept her busy with much book reading. We also went to Playalinda Beach together.

Caden didn't like going in the waves, not even putting his feet in.

Me and my belly.

Enjoying some waves.

We kept little whitey in a shirt the whole time so he wouldn't fry.

We tried making a little pool for Caden to play in. It was popular with the other boys as well.

School started. Kindergarten for Owen and second grade for Liam.

Aaaand... foot  pop!
